Growing up, I was consumed by the world of fashion. The ability that clothes had to make someone feel so beautiful, I found so empowering. I dreamt of being the next Rachel Zoe. For those of you that aren’t sure who that is, she was/is the Queen behind the red carpet. Watching Award Shows and hearing “Who are you wearing?” and all I ever wondered was, “Who styled her?”
I worked at clothing boutiques, dressing women and making them feel beautiful. This was my version of Heaven. Until I worked at my first Bridal Salon as a Stylist, almost 18 years ago. I to this day remember my first Bride, what she bought, how she looked when she tried on her Wedding Dress. My love for Fashion quickly turned into my love for all things bridal.
In the past 18 years, I have worked as a Bridal Stylist, Store Manager and for the past 6 years as a Bridal Store Owner. My store, Studio I Do in Roanoke, VA, encompasses everything that I have loved about the industry and my hope is that all Brides that visit Studio I Do will have the most memorable experience.
If you were to catch me outside of one of my businesses, you would find me cooking with my Husband and playing soccer or dress up with my daughters. Between my family and my businesses, life sure is busy, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
