At Studio I Do, our stylists are more than just dress experts - they’re dream-makers.
Ever wondered what it’s like behind the scenes at a bridal boutique? Picture it: a room full of love, laughter, lace, and a bit of fairy dust. Here at Studio I Do, our bridal consultants do much more than zip up dresses - they’re cheerleaders, style guides, and sometimes even honorary family members!
Meet Taylor
Bridal Stylist, Hype Woman, and Dress Whisperer
For Taylor, every bride’s journey starts with a mindset. “My biggest advice? Shop when you're truly ready to find your dress.” That means you’ve got a general vision for your day, a comfy budget in mind, and you’re emotionally ready to say yes. No, you don’t need every wedding detail figured out, but being open, positive, and ready to fall in love with the dress makes a huge difference.

Taylor’s other tip is to bring a small, supportive crew. “Less is more,” she says. “Choose the three or four people who know you best and will lift you up - this is your moment!”
Working with brides isn’t just about style, it’s about connection. “We listen. We ask questions. We read body language. We become dress detectives to help you find the one that makes you feel exactly the way you want to feel walking down the aisle.” And yes, sometimes it’s the wildcard gown you didn’t expect!
There’s something indescribable about watching a bride light up when she realizes she’s found the one. For Taylor, that moment is everything. “You see it click - the vision becomes real. Some brides dance, some cry, some go quiet with a calm sense of peace. It’s different for everyone, and it’s always magical.” |
Stacie’s Story
Real-Life Fairy Godmother
Not all fairy tales are make believe! Stacie, another one of our amazing bridal consultants, recently worked with a bride who came in wanting to feel like a princess. Turns out, they shared a hometown connection - her dad and the bride’s dad went to the same high school! Their bond was instant.
|
Together, they created a dreamy Cinderella-blue gown with custom sleeves and a veil. The emotional connection was so real, the bride’s family now calls Stacie their fairy godmother! “It was one of those days where you just know this is more than a job - it’s a real friendship forming.”
