Some love stories start with a first glance - others feel like they were always there, just waiting to bloom. For Morgan and Jimmy, the latter rings true. With memories rooted in grade school and high school hallways, they shared countless moments growing up - even attending prom together! But it wasn’t until after college that their story truly began, and their connection sparked into something undeniable. A few years later, Jimmy popped the question in Colonial Williamsburg, a dreamy nod to their shared love of history.

When it came time to say “I do,” Morgan brought her soft, romantic vision to life at the enchanting Mankin Mansion in Richmond, Virginia. The vibe was blushing pink garden party perfection, made even sweeter with lush florals and vintage elegance. From sweeping brick walkways to floral-filled spaces, the day was beautifully captured by Morgan Renee Photography.

Morgan’s dress from Studio I Do Bridals was the perfect match for her floral-forward vision. Designed by Martina Liana, the gown sparkled with beading and featured 3D floral appliqués that echoed the garden’s blooms. With a custom twist, Morgan transformed the original cape into a detachable overskirt and train - making a grand ceremony entrance and a reception-ready exit. Her effortless waves and floral earrings tied the look together with whimsical charm.
The entire day was drenched in pink - from blush to mauve - with bursts of summer color layered throughout. The bridesmaids wore soft silk gowns by Revelry, paired with cheerful bouquets dotted with blue and yellow. The groomsmen balanced the palette with classic black suits and pink boutonnieres from Indochino.

Morgan’s floral dreams came alive thanks to Weddings by Vogue, with arrangements cascading through every part of the celebration - bouquets, altars, centerpieces, and even the seating chart. Two towering floral pillars framed the ceremony and later added magic to the reception head table.
Guests found their seats via a floral-filled garden party-inspired chart, featuring summery blooms nestled in wicker baskets. Cocktail hour was marked by a linen bar menu hung on a brick wall - adding that perfect mix of elegance and charm.

The reception was a rosy dream come true. Blush linens, gold accents, and soft lighting transformed the space into a cozy, romantic haven. The couple’s cake from The Mixing Bowl was a two-tiered beauty in blush and white, detailed with delicate greenery.
As the sun set, Morgan and Jimmy celebrated with their guests under the stars. Custom trucker hats, Polaroids, and a packed dance floor wrapped the night in joy. Every detail was a reflection of their story: timeless, thoughtful, and full of heart.
